I found a set of V8q Eibach lowering springs for cheap and am wondering how well they will work on my 89' 200tq.
Has anyone done this before?
What will the stance and ride quality be like? (I'm guessing they will ride a little bit higher and maybe a bit firmer because of the lighter 200tq.)
Thanks!
Jeff
Edit: Will the front sway bar from a V8Q work on my 200tq? Is it larger diameter than the stock sway bar?

I don't think eibach made a V8 specific spring. They might b on a V8 but prolly made for a type44 or urs4/6. V8 stock swaybar is 26mm. Which I think is the same across the board.

I tried to memorize the part number on one of the rear springs, it was something like 01-1C-000-15-HA (could be wrong).

I think they're all the same as far as fitment goes, fwiw I have urs6 plus v8 springs on my urs4. From what I've read v8 springs are something to the order of 15% stiffer. Probably similar for the 200, all the same chassis.

they are indeed the same. when i did h&r's on my 5 speed i put the factory springs on the 200 20vt. the only diff between the 10vt and 20vt is spring rate. the 20vt are higher. i tested them years ago and dont recall the exact specs but it was around 15% stiffer between the two IIRC.
