Up for sale is my 1991 Audi 200 20V TurboQuattro.
The color is Cyclamen Red with Platinum leather interior
This IS the 20V with the 3b engine which is quite rare in Canada, the predessor to the S4. A very quick sedan built for the autobahn.
There is no rust and the body is in very good condition, although the paint has seen better days it still looks great with a polish and wax(just did that)
The Bose stereo has been changed out for an updated Sony cd player and the car will come with a set of 17inch TSW Hochenheims with Summer tires at better than 80% or Black Ronals with winters at 40-50%.
I really love this car and if I had room to park a dozen I'd never sell it.
She is a creampuff, I've never had a real problem with it.
Mechanically the trans. is great, when I imported it I changed the oil and seals and filled it with synthetic....there is no noise at all.
The clutch grabs good and has many miles left in it.
The awd is perfect, I have locked the rear diff a few times but never out of necessity.
The only issue is the a/c compressor bearings started making some noise last winter so I sourced another from here but never installed it.
I used this as a winter car so I took the belt off and just never got to it.
There is one other thing....but its not really an issue. The downpipe has been altered, the wastegate no longer ties into the downpipe but dumps straight down. it doesn't affect the operation at all but when you've got your foot into it it gets loud. I was told this was done years ago to pass California emissions. I kinda like it.
The motor....well it's a thing of beauty....starts and runs flawlessly and pulls like a freight train. I did a compression test when I got it and it was within 5psi across the board.
The shifter is a little sloppy...not so much that your hunting for gears but if I kept it I was going to put a bushing kit into it next year.
A seam in the drivers seat is coming apart but its not a tear just worn stitching and I could stitch it up before purchase.
