Got it fired and idleing pretty nicely. Not going to do much tuning until I get a wideband (ordering this week). Need to do something about the exhaust as it sits low and has a large leak somewhere.

Routing it to the passenger fender like you mentioned in your thread. Ben already kinda had a routing made up. Or I could use the stock v6 airbox if I wanted to look stock too. I'll post some pictures tomorrow or Friday. The ABZ intake I have (uninstalled) routes it in that direction too so that'll be easy when I put that on.

Found the exhaust leak, all 3 bolts on one header->downpiper connection were loose. Tightened two out of three, have to go buy a wrench that'll fit to get the 3rd as I can't get at it with a normal one due to the subframe being in the way.
Cleaned up the wiring and secured it. Also got the intake plumbed. Still need a 3" extension to bring the filter closer to the fender and then build a heatshield.
Mounting of the intake:
And the exhaust (connects to the stock V6 catback):

Are those stock B4 V6 downpipes? They don't bolt up to the manifolds 'as-is', do they?
Also, that driver's side inner Cv shield - is that stock-mounted on it? I should know some of this since I had a B4 for few years but it's been a while...

IIRC, the B5 v6 dp's will connect to certain v8 manifolds in the B5 chassis. I'm not sure which on any of this though.

Very nice work alex! It's v8 down tubes with flex attached running into the stock muffler. the B4 didn't work, and are actually really small on the inside. Double walled. The v8 is nice cuz the collar spins.

The revs do not look correct in the last vid. Has the rev gauge been reset for 8 cylinders instead of 6? You got 2 pulses too many.
Yeah, the revs aren't correct (I don't think). I know at idle the tach is off and I think it is pulsing 8 times. I will have to set up some false phases to trigger the tach like a v6.
